My name is Cristi and I believe in soulmates. I came to Mexico to study 16 years ago without knowing that my best friend was about to become my future husband. I truly believe that God’s plan is perfect and that you build your own destiny with every single decision. Most people speak about 'letting go' but what about “holding on”? Holding on to the ones you love, to the people that you care about. It is not about disposing of what is broken, but finding a way to make it work.
Four years ago, I was asked by two of my closest friends to officiate their symbolic wedding ceremony. I was honored as I was amazed. While doing so, I realized how much I loved the idea of sharing love, different kinds of love. A love that speaks its own language and that manifests in multiple cultures and situations. With that thought in mind, I decided that officiating weddings was one of the most fulfilling practices for the heart.
